Smart Lock

How does the box unlock?

The surebox Smart Lockable Box has a hidden smart lock.

The box can be unlocked in a number of handy ways:

  • By tapping a paired Key Card or Key Fob on the unlock point on top of the box
  • Using the TTLock App on your phone in Bluetooth range.
  • Using the surebox Remote Control in Bluetooth range.
  • Remotely using the TTLock App with G2 Gateway (requires WiFi).

What is the functionality of the Smart Lock?

The surebox Smart Lock uses the TTLock App - Search TTLock App in App Store (iOS) / Google Play (Android)

The surebox Smart Lock is managed using the TTLock App.

You can unlock your surebox using the TTLock App or surebox Remote Control (sold separately) in Bluetooth range, or by holding your Card or Key Fob to the unlock point on the surebox.

When setting up the lock, you become the lock administrator – As the lock administrator, there are a number of functions available to you on the TTLock app, including:

  1. Add/delete cards and key fobs
  2. Specify/change the validity period (start time/date -> end time/date) of cards and key fobs (when in Bluetooth range of the box)
  3. Remote distribution of electronic keys
An electronic key (e-key) can be sent at any time, this gives the recipient access to the surebox by downloading the TTLock App. The validity period of each e-key can be set, and the e-key can be frozen/unfrozen.
  4. Unlock record monitoring
The TTLock app keeps unlocking records, so the administrator can see when the box has been opened, with time/date and unlocking method (Card/Key Fob/App/Remote Control).
After any TTLock app user operates the door lock, connects to the network and synchronizes information (automatic), all previous unlocking records can be seen on the administrator TTLock app.
  5. Remote functionality with the surebox TTLock Gateway (sold separately, Wi-Fi connection needed in surebox location):
  • Remote unlocking
  • Remote card/key fob unlock record monitoring
  • Remote notification when door is unlocked by any method
  • Remote edit of card/key fob validity period

Additional Cards, Key Fobs, Remote Controls, Gateways and all surebox products are available from surebox.uk

How long will the batteries last?

Battery life is around a year or longer

What happens if the battery dies?

The Smart Lock has a low battery auto-unlock function.

The battery percentage % can be seen and monitored on the TTLock App (updated when in Bluetooth range of the box).

The box will automatically unlock when the battery power is too low, so you will not be locked out of your surebox.

Please ensure batteries are changed when low to keep the lock working and the contents secure!

The A/B lever is stuck?

  • Check the current code is displayed correctly on the front of the box (0-0-0-0 for the first time you set your code)
  • With the door open, try to lock/unlock the box, the lock arm should change position confirming the correct code is displayed. Adjust the code if necessary and check the alignment is correct!
  • The A/B lever can get a little stiff sometimes! Once the correct code is selected and the box can be locked/unlocked, you can try using something to push the lever across with some pressure - a key works great!
This should free up the movement and then the lever should move smoothly and easily.

Following these steps should solve the problem, but if you're still struggling then please get in touch for assistance.
